A Totem Pole Thanksgiving

       November's Thanksgiving Event focused on totem poles.  Children and adults enjoyed a story by our own Indian Princess Mamie.  Then they learned about carving from four volunteers from a Carving Club, which included our own Ken Smith!  Clair Martin brought some Indian carvings to share, and the other carvers had a variety of items to show.  The children then made their own totem poles, and all enjoyed an Inspirational Thanksgiving snack as they "gathered together" to fellowship.
