UPDATE: A special council meeting was held on 11/17/2008.  89% of the members present voted to proceed with construction of the Family Life Center.  The net result of this vote will mean that demolition of the 3 homes (to make way for the FLC) will occur ASAP; that paperwork will be completed in application for a construction loan; and that ground breaking will occur in the spring of 2009 for construction to begin.
