On June 7, during both morning worship services, each member of our church family will receive a pack of sunflower seeds. These seeds are a symbolic reminder for a fundraising project that is based on the Parable of the Talents. After both services you will have the opportunity to come to the church library to get money. Yes, we said GET money! You may take $20, $50, or $100. You may sign up as an individual, a family, or a group. The challenge is to multiply the amount taken, and return the “seed” money along with what you grew   We will reap the harvest in October. A list of ideas will be provided, and all participation is voluntary. In Matthew 25:14-30 it is clear that God expects us to work with what he has given us, and not be satisfied to sit back and do nothing. Where will you plant your seeds?
