The harvest is in, and the crop is good! About a dozen families participated in the Family Life Center Seed Project. Over $600 was distributed to members of the congregation. Then the creative thinking and the cultivating began. Over a four month growing period, approximately $2,000 was harvested, more than tripling the original seed money. It may be worth repeating again some other season. Perhaps sharing of some of the ideas used this time will bring out the “reaper” in those who think they do not have a green thumb.
