Family Night Goes to the Movies

Holes is an action-adventure Family film with heart as well as humor.” (USA Today)

Based on the award-winning book, Holes is the story of a boy who is dogged by bad luck.  Sent to CampGreenLake, which is not green and has no lake, he must dig a hole five feet round and five feet deep every day!  But why?  Join us in the FamilyLifeCenter Wednesday, February 15 at 6:00 to get the answer.  Pizza, popcorn, and juice will be provided.  Holes is a movie everyone will “dig”.

With open arms we welcome you to join our growing church.  We believe you will find people that are warm and supportive; people that have a passion to serve, willing to give their hand along with their heart.

You’ll find that we have a unique compassion for children of all ages; so we would encourage your entire family to grow with ours. Come, grow with us as we seek answers to life's most difficult questions.  Come, grow with us as we dig and discover God's wisdom through Biblical studies and prayer.  Come, grow with us as we worship our loving and compassionate Creator.

We encourage you to not just use this site as a resource, but consider it an invitation to join us as we continue the work of Jesus; peacefully, simply, together.

Pastoral Search Committee Update, Jan 22, 2012

The Pastoral Search Committee has been meeting faithfully since August of 2011. The nine members of the committee seek the leading of the Holy Spirit as we discern God’s will for our congregation. Georgia Markey, Interim District Executive, has been helpful by providing direction as we screen applicants and conduct interviews.
To date, five candidates have interviewed for our congregation’s pastoral vacancy.   The interviews are a time consuming process which demands the dedication of each committee member. The more candidates we interview, the more we realize our dependence on God’s direction to hire the pastor that our congregation NEEDS, not necessarily a pastor that satisfies everyone’s WANTS.
To that end, we request your continued prayers for this process.   Without God’s wisdom and leading, we know that our efforts are futile.   Thank you for your understanding and support.
